Lampshades are designed around the colours and textures in the room-it may be the colours in a painting or a fabric on a cushion.Lampshades can really add another level of mystery and make a room sing.

I am using antique ,hand loomed Turkish ikat silks, which have a watermarked moire weave and have a beautiful abstract quality, and they are lined in gold or ivory silk with a simple binding cut on the cross.

Lampshades can be made in any silk/linen so long as it is flexible and light enough,so do contact me if you want something really special.
